26th February 2019

Pairing passionate Flamenco with Andalusian cuisine, Aqua Nueva celebrates the dance with a menu and wine pairings inspired by the southern Spanish region of Jerez

On the 28th February the restaurant is opening its private dining room for a vibrant Flamenco-themed wine dinner. Paying tribute to the creation of Flamenco dance at its birthplace, Jerez, the evening will combine lively dance performances with a decadent four-course menu devised by head chef Yahir Gonzalez.

Inspired by the Andalusia region of southern Spain the menu draws on typically Spanish ingredients and includes such dishes as black seafood aioli croquettes and 24-hour-marinated oxtail with aged beef fillet in sherry sauce and a dish of wild mushrooms and aerated chocolate with clementine sorbet and coffee mousse for desert.

Making the evening all the merrier, the dinner will be accompanied by wine pairings chosen by Spanish wine expert Peter Wallbridge and a special Jerez Festival cocktail made from Cîroc vodka, Pedro Ximenez, lime, apple & pear foam, will be shaken up for the occasion.

The Jerez Festival menu will be available until the 10th March. To find out more and book your place, please visit https://aquanueva.co.uk/experience.
