Changing Lanes at Maddox Gallery
Glasgow-born David Yarrow is one of the rare photographers who manages to combine awe-inspiring shots of the natural world alongside stunning portraits of the likes of Cindy Crawford (pictured above) and Cara Delevingne. His latest project, completed in lockdown in Texas, is an affectionate homage to Hollywood, the Old West and the art of myth-making.

KOL introduces house-serve mezcals
KOL Mezcal

KOL Mezcal
Having finally opened his much delayed, critically lauded restaurant in Marylebone last year, Chef Santiago Lastra is now bringing a touch of Oaxaca to British homes nationwide. They have recently launched their range of house mezcals via their new online store, with eye-catching label design inspired by La Loteria playing cards. Sourced from independent mezcaleros, each complex distilled spirit has a smoky, briny delight all of its own - no wonder the Pino was originally treated as medicinal. Serve straight up or combine with Cynar, Vermouth, Campari for a Mexican take on a Negroni.

Buccellati: A Century of Timeless Beauty
The latest lavish tome from Assouline charts how, over 100 years and four generations, Mario Buccelati took a small store near La Scala to became one of Italy’s most respected jewellers. What is particularly impressive here is seeing a genuine celebration of hand-engraved craftsmanship: honeycomb carving, two colour gold and ultra fine engraving that treats gold resemble silk.)

Maryfield House available from Hamptons

Maryfield House
If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that houses are far more than homes. What one requires now is a hybrid - somewhere where work, entertaining and family can co-exist happily. As such this 19th century house overlooking Taplow (33 minutes to Paddington) has much to recommend it. Home to a family for the past 17 years, there are many attractions: lavish central staircase, landscaped gardens, a study and a wood-burning stove in the sitting room. Throw in a gym, sauna, boot room, wine store and two pantries - as well as a self-contained two bedroom cottage - and you have a forever home in the making.
