This just launched collection by Marimekko for Ikea features special prints created by their established designers Maija Louekari - who created the "Raparperi" (rhubarb) and and "Pötkö" (stripe) prints, and Sami Ruotsalainen who designed the "Puuleikkaus" (woodcarving) print.

IKEA Marimekko collection launches as a treat for print lovers.
Marimekko x Ikea Lantern, £17
The prints and textures are inspired by exuberant rhubarbs that grow near sauna buildings, the soft, curved cuts of carved wood, and gentle water ripples on lakes illuminated by the midnight sun.
The full collection features exuberantly printed Marimekko robes, towels and accessories as well as pale wood sauna benches, side tables, glassware and a LED battery powered lantern, perfect for illuminating outdoors spaces on long summer evenings.
