The most covetable watches we admired at WatchPro 2021.

The highlight of the London horological calendar, WatchPro Salon is a spectacular showcase of the latest collections that takes place every autumn. Here are SPHERE's selections of which brands really impressed us on close inspection....

Speake Marin (pictured above)
Direct from their headquarters in Champel, Geneva, Speake Marin have prided themselves on their independence. For almost 20 years, they have specialised in ‘belle horlogerie’, they work only in Swiss-made limited editions, complete only with inhouse movements. The One&Two Openworked Tourbillon is an exemplary example of their craftsmanship - note how the tourbillon cage at 1.30 balances the barrel at 10.00 and the micro-rotor at 5.30.

Pequignet
Shown for the first time in the UK, the Attitude Or is a celebration of French savoir faire. Marking a new emphasis for the brand: celebrating French haute horlogerie. Combining handicraft, technical knowledge, the rose gold case is available in a limited edition of 100 (with a hand painted number) and features a new inhouse movement and a more modern case.

Perrelet
Two hundred and forty four years after Church elder Abraham Louis Perrelet invented the self-winding watch in the Swiss village of Le Locle , his namesake brand continues to innovate. At WatchPro this year, they are re-entering the UK market through a new partnership  with Stephen Lee from Remontoire ’68 Limited. Check out the watchmaker’s new Turbine Pilot collection housing the in-house automatic calibre P-331-MH to make a truly unique aviator watch.
