The benefits of a first class flight are plentiful. Be it the separate check-in desks, fast-track through security, or lounge access – and that’s before you’ve even boarded the plane – the experience has been designed to make travellers’ journeys as simple as possible from start to finish. Of course, once you’re in the chair, or bed as it were, the real fun starts. Nestled among plush cushions, a glass of Champagne in hand, browsing the wide selection of films, it feels less like flying and more like a mini boutique hotel suite.
The First Class Seats with the Best Amenity Kits
4th September 2026
With summer over and winter sun on the brain, these are the first class seats to book with the best amenity kits.
This summer, in-flight skincare and beauty regimens dominated social media feeds with passengers whipping out jelly-like face masks or misting their skin mid-journey. Those in first class needn’t bring their entire bathroom cupboard on board, as many airlines have partnered with luxury beauty brands to provide amenity kits filled with premium skincare, fragrance and wellness essentials. These are the airlines with the best offerings.
Cathay Pacific x Bamford
Turn left on any Cathay Pacific flight and you’ll be treated to an enticing amenity kit from renowned British brand Bamford. Encased in a stylish leather pouch, all products are glass-bottled – a nod to Bamford’s sustainability commitments – and feature some of the best-selling exports from Daylesford Farm. This includes Bamford’s Pillow Mist, infused with frankincense, lavender and marjoram to aid sleep. The Women’s kit features a four-stage moisturising and skincare range, designed to combat the drying effects of flying, while men receive products from the Bamford Grooming Department, like the facial mist. Celebrating its 80th anniversary, Cathay Pacific is clearly feeling generous as all products are packaged in larger bottles so guests can continue to use them post-flight.
Singapore Airlines x Lalique
The enviable seats 1 and 2 A or 1 and 2F on board Singapore Airlines are well documented as the best spots on a commercial plane. Why? They are the double adjoining suites, where passengers can collapse the divider, leaving space for a luxurious double bed. Beyond that, first class passengers are treated to spacious bathrooms, fitted with a sit-down vanity counter and an exquisite range of toiletries from Lalique. Inside, you’ll find body lotion, a facial mist and, most importantly, a bottle of eau de toilette. You’ll leave the plane fresher than when you boarded.
Emirates x Bvlgari
Refreshed just this summer, Emirates has recently unveiled its latest collection of amenity kits in partnership with Italian iconic maison Bvlgari. Drawing on a partnership that spans over 16 years, the new collection reflects the surrounding cabin interiors – expect buttery leather pouches and a muted colour palette with flashes or red and black. Notably, female customers will receive a 30ml bottle of Le Gemme Sahare Eau de Parfum on board, inspired by warm desert nights. In contrast, male customers will receive a Le Gemme Yasep Eau de Parfum, featuring sophisticated woody notes. In addition to the usual dental kits and cleansing towels, each kit comes with a deodorant, hydrating face and body emulsion, alongside a lip balm – all best enjoyed in the on-board shower. The product to sneak into your hand luggage? The elegant Bvlgari-branded golden pocket mirror – perfect for on-the-go touch-ups.
British Airways x Elemis
British Airways, in updating its amenity kit, has created a collectable. Designed by British luxury fashion powerhouse Temperly London, the bag itself is inspired by flights through starry nights. Featuring moody colours of a red sky at night, the hand-painted case is meant to mirror the ethereal beauty of life above the clouds. That’s not all, though. Each kit comprises seven Elemis products to help passengers cleanse, revive and hydrate during the flight. The range also includes Elemis’ pro-collagen moisturiser, eye cream and rose mist so that the skin can remain radiant even after cruising at 30,000 ft for hours.
Qatar Airways x Diptyque
Parisian fragrance house Diptyque, certainly knows a thing or two about elevating everyday rituals both on land and in the air. Its years-long partnership with Qatar Airways has long been a fan favourite amongst frequent flyers yearning for a touch of French sophistication on their journeys. This leather vegan pouch houses a handful of products, each imbued with the brand’s signature natural scents. Expect a nourishing rose and violet lip balm, orange blossom body lotion primed to refresh sleepy skin, the essential face cream packed with prickly pear extract to boost radiance and a mini Diptyque fragrance – either the Eau Rose or the brand’s renowned 34 Boulevard Saint Germain Eau de Toilette with notes of amber, patchouli, cinnamon and rose.
