Tucked away in the honey-hued heart of Woodstock, just moments from the gates of Blenheim Palace, The Feathers is a 17th-century townhouse turned boutique hideaway. Behind its ivy-clad façade lies a peaceful retreat of individually styled rooms and suites, each blending old-world character with contemporary comfort. Exposed beams, plush linens, soft lighting and thoughtful details bring together traditional charm and modern touches to evoke the warmth and elegance of a country home.
The hotel recently unveiled a top-to-toe revamp, reimagining every room, restaurant and communal space. After following the steps in the Instagram post @sphere_life above, your name is in the mix to win a luxurious bed and breakfast stay for two at The Feathers Woodstock. In the evening, the winner and guest will have a choice between a three-course meal of fine dining at The Nest (accompanied with a bottle of wine) OR three small plates and two wood-fired pizzas at The Aviary. The choice will be yours, please note—if you had a four-legged friend—The Aviary is dog-friendly and is open every day. The Nest, however, has more limited opening times of Wednesday to Sunday. How to Enter

And that’s it - you’re in the running! Selected at random, the competition closes at midnight on 29th August 2025 and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards.

Introducing The Nest

An elegant and intimate dining space, The Nest offers a refined take on modern European cuisine, led by Head Chef Luke Rawicki. Open Wednesday to Sunday, the menu draws on the best of local produce to reimagine British classics with precision and flair—from aged beef tartare with Maldon oyster and arbequina oil, to lamb loin served three ways with wild garlic and buttery Jersey Royals. Rawicki's signature dishes (think stuffed saddle of South West lamb with a side of peas and mint salsa verde) highlight his confident, ingredient-led approach. A light, elegant finish might include macerated Evesham strawberries with whipped coconut and strawberry sorbet.

Introducing The Aviary
Welcome to The Aviary, a relaxed and sociable dog-friendly setting that extends into a newly refurbished terrace with striped parasols, bistro tables and olive trees. Recently redesigned after a six-month revamp, this freshly launched version of The Aviary now features a bespoke wood-fired pizza oven and laid-back menu built for sharing. Open daily, this is the laid-back Cotswolds spot for some al fresco slices and freshly-shaken cocktails.

- Prize includes a one-night bed and breakfast stay for two adults and dinner for two at The Nest (3 courses and a bottle of wine x 2 people, open Wednesday-Sunday) or at The Aviary (3 small plates and two pizzas x 2 people, open every day; dog-friendly).
- Subject to availability and blackout dates, including 24th-31st December.
- Prize is non-transferable and holds no cash value. Validity on the prize will be 12 months, until 29/08/2026
