The founder of the Linley London company reveals his top tips on places to go in south-west London, including farmers’ markets, art galleries and luxury hotels

Pimlico Road Farmers’ Market
Orange Square, Pimlico Road SW1W 8NE
Filling Orange Square every Saturday, this market brings together an array of wonderful small food producers and farmers. Take a large shopping basket!

The Queens Gallery
Buckingham Palace Road, SW1A 1AA
I recommend the exhibition, Scottish Artists 1750-1900: from Caledonia to the Continent, which includes work by Sir David Wilkie, a favourite of mine.

The Goring Hotel
Beeston Place, SW1W 0JW
The Goring is one of the last great family-owned hotels. It has the most spectacular private gardens – perfect for a summer party or game of croquet.

This church is an artisanal masterpiece, having been designed by John Dando Sedding, an extremely influential figure in the arts and crafts movement. It’s worth a visit to see its splendid sculptures, carving and stained glass-windows.

This French bistro has been a local landmark for nearly 60 years. Inside, it is dark and romantic; order the delicious house red wine that comes in a wonderful large bottle.
