Staying at a hotel comes with a whole host of benefits. The turn down service, mini chocolates left on your pillow, warm fluffy towelling robes – the list is endless. But arguably one of the most enjoyable parts of staying somewhere that isn’t your home is the ability to try a new range of beauty products, courtesy of the hotel. Of course, there’s a hierarchy here, and shampoos leave your hair crisp or lacklustre, leave little to be desired. To make sure you never have to experience this, we’ve collated a list of the luxury hotels with the best beauty products on offer for guests.
The Best Luxury Hotel Beauty Products
4th November 2025
SPHERE selects the best hotel beauty products that make a hotel worth checking into. From the science-backed serums to natural cleansing balms, it's the small touches that transform a stay into an experience.
The Lanesborough, London
Starting off strong at home in London, The Lanesborough is well known not just for the decadent suites and colourful canopied beds, but for the famed club and spa. Housed at the intersection of Knightsbridge and Mayfair, it was crowned ‘Best Spa in London' at the Good Spa Awards 2023 and is one of the capital’s most exclusive private members' health clubs. With mud wraps, advanced aesthetics, and of course, massages and facials, the treatment list is as long as a conversation after a glass of vintage champagne.
Available only at The Lanesborough, the Royal Fern is the revolutionary plant-based range by world-renowned dermatologist, Dr Timm Goluke. The Signature Royal Fern Treatment, exclusively designed for The Lanesborough Club & Spa, encourages a youthful and sculpted appearance thanks to the anti-ageing and antioxidative properties of the product. As of this year, two Royal Fern treatments can be booked at The Lanesborough - the On The Go Glow facial and the Glowing Radiance facial. Great for resuscitating city skin with minimal downtime.
La Réserve, Paris
Self-described as a private urban mansion, La Réserve is firing on all cylinders when it comes to glamour and grandeur – Louis XV would be proud - while still providing a sense of tranquillity away from L’Avenue de l’Elysée. I could go on about why this hotel should be on every five-star bucket list, not least because it’s an oasis from the outside Parisian snobbery. But it’s the hotel’s own range of beauty products, lined up on the marble counters, that is attention-grabbing.
The signature cologne, a sexy woody scent that conjures images of a woman in a really good tailored suit, will hopefully be restocked and will be well worth the wait. In the meantime, the on-site boutique’s foaming gel and moisturiser are guest favourites, with few leaving the premises without them. Hotel hair care is also notoriously drying, but La Réserve's shampooing and après shampooing are absolutely the exception.
HOSHINOYA, Taketomi Island, Japan
A far-flung island in the Pacific Ocean with only 350 residents is truly the epitome of seclusion and barefoot luxury. HOSHINOYA’s Takatomi Island hotel is exactly that. Each room is its own private villa, inspired by traditional Japanese design – think wooden flooring, low beds, ritualistic approach to bathing.
Of course, each bathroom follows suit, equipped with a full range of beauty products - shampoo an conditioner, body wash, cleansing face wash, face lotion, and milky lotion. The guiding principle for these is to source from local ingredients like lemongrass, drawing on Japanese herbalist culture. We also recommend popping on your complimentary in-room pyjamas and heading down to the spa to make the most of the hotel’s seaweed face mask, farmed from the surrounding ocean, by indulging in the In Nu Urui treatment.
Aman Hotels, Worldwide
Iconic for a reason, a stay at an Aman is a real departure from the everyday. Be it the panoramic views from a room in Tokyo or cosy chalet vibes in the Alps, the experience is always exceptional. Thank goodness it can be replicated at home, as the hotel’s collection of beauty products is available in Liberty.
Inspired by the 20 countries the hotel operates out of, the Aman range harnesses the power of botanical and wild-harvested ingredients. SPHERE favourites include the amethyst-infused body scrub – what could be more luxe than an exfoliating with gems – and the Vayu eau de parfum, a delightful blend of sandalwood, coconut and tuberose.
Bürgenstock Resort, Lake Lucerne
Switzerland and science go together like CERN and the speed of light. It is unsurprising, then, that the Bürgenstock Resort, which sits above Lake Lucerne, has opted to carry Dr Burgen’s renowned range of skincare.
Labelled as the “haute couture of personalised luxury skincare” and created in a family laboratory and clinic, it’s the kind of innovation that you can trust without even reading the ingredients list (although still do, always do!). The face serums are like armour for your skin barrier, and the instant eye radiance cream will have those under-eye bags packed and on their merry way.
Château St Martin Hotel & Spa, Vence
In France, Nice is nice, but Vence, in my humble opinion, is better. Set away from the heaving crowds, Vence is one of the charming hill-top medieval villages, and home to the Château St Martin Hotel & Spa.
The 12th-century destination carries La Prairie products, designed by experts in cellular science and which are the ultimate indulgence. The skin caviar is particularly opulent, using caviar micro-nutrients and La Prarie’s exclusive cellular complex to deliver phenomenal lifting, firming and nourishment and leave the skin feeling supple, taut and renewed.
Heckfield Place, Hampshire
Ah…the healing powers of the English countryside – our verily green and pleasant lands. Even the most stalwart of city slickers can’t deny its recharging powers. One need only venture to the home counties, Hampshire to be specific, in order to reap the rewards. Heckfield Place, a working Georgian estate, provides just that through The Bothy – the onsite digital-free space that promotes a regenerative philosophy to wellbeing.
Here, and throughout the hotel, Wildsmith products are available to guests, each reflecting and inspired by the natural surroundings and botanical heritage of the estate. The hand and body wash, while basic, is very gentle on the skin, thanks to the use of Roman chamomile and helps fortify the skin barrier. The active repair nourishing cleansing balm, too, is a worthwhile purchase and a great alternative to Elemis’ viral version. The natural surfactants simply melt away all traces of makeup, pollutants and impurities.
