Last night, the 27th Cartier Racing Awards ceremony was held at the Dorchester Hotel, London celebrating everything from the finest filly and sprinter to the Cartier Horse of the year. Celebrating the beauty of the sport in the most dazzling setting, the glamorous event was co-hosted by Cartier’s managing director Laurent Feniou and the Hon. Harry Herbert.

Known as the Oscars of the horse racing world, the Cartier Racing Awards saw 300 guests including jockeys, owners and racing enthusiasts assemble in the Ballroom at the Dorchester for champagne, a lavish dinner and the awards ceremony.

Notable winners included Harry Angel who won the prize for “Cartier Sprinter”, Ulysses for “Cartier Older Horse” and Happily for “Cartier Two-Year-Old-Filly”, while Enable picked up the most prestigious award of the evening, the “Cartier Horse Of The Year”.

A calendar highlight for many, the event also saw many famous and well-heeled guests attend.
