Fresh from a sojourn to Port Hercule, Lisa Barnard recounts the latest launches from the Monaco Yacht Show and selects the vessels to add to your nautical shopping list.

Monaco is synonymous with the Grand Prix, glamour, and of course, superyachts. Anyone who has spent time near Port Hercule will be all too aware of this, particularly if they’ve visited of late and managed to catch the Monaco Yacht Show. As Constantin Buschmann, CEO and owner of BRABUS, aptly points out: “Monaco is a place where you can feel the pulse of the yachting world like no other.”

Widely regarded as the industry’s foremost gathering of wealth, innovation and nautical excellence, the event sees the city transform into a floating showcase of the world’s most extraordinary yachts, all vying for the attention of discerning owners – this year’s brokerage fleet was valued at an estimated $2.5 billion. Fresh from my Monegasque sojourn, these are the vessels to have on your radar, plus a few pearls of wisdom from the industry’s finest.

Oyster Yachts' 36M Oyster

When Richard Hadida spotted that Oyster Yachts had gone into administration, he saw an opportunity to be a part of what has long been known as the “Rolls-Royce of sailing boats.” Since taking over Oyster Yachts, Hadida’s core goals have been to elevate the brand and ensure everything is exquisitely built and designed.  And elevate he has, returning Oyster to the superyacht market with the launch of the Oyster 36M – or as he describes it, “the ultimate true blue water sailing yacht.”

“We’ve only been in the market for two weeks and people are already calling it the de facto standard for this type of launch.” Anecdotally, he recounts how an attendee saw the presentation at Cannes Yachting Festival a few weeks earlier and bought the model on the spot with a £50,000 deposit – quite the feat, considering it won’t grace the waters until 2028. Speaking about the launch, Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke, CEO of Oyster Yachts, says: “The Oyster 36M proudly signifies a new generation of Oyster yachts and will lead our fleet into the future.” Designed to be fully customisable to suit an owner’s individual needs. Should you require specific sun protection or even a jacuzzi, it can be tailored to give you a dedicated private space to sit back and enjoy life on the water.

The Riva 54 Metri

At this year’s Show, Riva unveiled its largest vessel to date – a 180-ft, four-deck superyacht. Making its Monaco Yacht Show debut, it’s made entirely from aluminium, weighs in at 500 GT, and has a sporty, sleek feel. Part of the Ferretti Group, the brand is renowned for its commitment to sleek Italian style, innovation and cutting-edge technology, and the 54 Metri is a fitting expression of all three attributes. Stassi Anastassov, Ferretti Group Global Chief Executive Officer, describes it as “an expression of over 180 years of craftsmanship, innovation and an uncompromising pursuit of beauty. What makes Riva unique is its ability to respect its extraordinary heritage without ever becoming captive to it.” Recently honoured at the 2026 World Yacht Trophies with “best exterior design”, it's clear that Anastassov is in fact correct – biased or not.

In addition to the 54 Metri, Ferretti Group came to the show with an eight-vessel fleet, clearly demonstrating its intention to arrive with a splash. Leading the pack was the CRN Amor à Vida – a taut, sweeping 67m superyacht spanning six decks – which accommodates up to 12 guests. Notably, it features hybrid propulsion and heat recovery systems, significantly reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.

The Custom Line Navetta 35 – made-to-measure and available in a variety of different design languages – was also a headline feature. Smaller in stature, measuring in at 34.5m in length over three decks, she embodies Ferretti’s “Made in Italy” values. On that point, Anastassov states that "being Italian and leveraging the heritage of Italy is not only a marketing trick, but it's a smart financial consideration." Craftsmanship of this calibre clearly sells, as 5 units were reportedly sold at the Show, so it's certainly one to watch.

Princess Yachts’ Odyssey 108

Princess Yachts, Monaco Yacht Show.
Princess Yachts is known for its refined approach to interiors.

For Princess Yachts, the Monaco Yacht Show marked a major milestone in its development of new-generation yachts over 100 feet. The British-based brand previewed the interior and exterior CGIs of the Odyssey 108 for the first time. Developed in partnership with London superyacht design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, it is Princess’ return to the 30m-plus market. Speaking to this pivotal step, Will Green, CEO of Princess Yachts, says: “The design has progressed enormously, the engineering programme is well underway, and the successful completion of our first hull tank tests is another important milestone.” Elaborating on what’s to come, he adds: “There is a tremendous amount of work still ahead of us, but we are incredibly excited by what the teams are creating.”

The Odyssey 108 will hit the waters with a commanding presence, in part due to its tri-deck formation. A peek inside suggests plenty of living space and natural light, along with a refined design. Accommodating up to eight guests in four cabins (with an optional fifth cabin), the Odyssey 108 has been designed for long-range capability, for long, luxurious sea voyages. It's 108 is scheduled to enter the water in 2029 ahead of her world premiere in 2030.

VistaJet Terrace at Stars of Monaco

VistaJet's sleek private planes.

From the sea to the skies, VistaJet once again proved that the only way to reach a yacht is by private plane. Taking over the terrace at Stars of Monaco – a Port Hercule staple – the official private aviation sponsor gave members a space to relax with a superb view of all the moored boats.

Over the summer, VistaJet announced a curated series of immersive journeys across Africa, the Arctic, North America and Europe. With access to over 2,400 airports, you can reach almost anywhere. Flying to meet your yacht for an Arctic cruise sounds more than appealing this winter.

Sanlorenzo Yachts UK 74 Steel

The Sanlorenzo 50 Steel - the predecessor to the 74 Steel.

For Sanlorenzo, the decision to launch its largest-ever model – the 74 Steel – was not one of vanity, but of necessity. “Owners are planning to stay on board not only for a holiday, but for months to work and to enjoy life,” Massimo Perotti, executive chairman of Sanlorenzo, explains. The maths, of course, adds up – more time at sea = a need for more space. “We really care how people spend their time on board,” he elaborates. The dedicated owner’s deck, vast airy saloons and sculptural lines all serve as proof points of that ethos.

Joining the 74 Steel was the BGX83 – the Bluegame series new flagship. This long-awaited evolution of the BGX range is 25.6m in length and prioritises a closer connection to the sea with its indoor-outdoor spaces. Accommodating up to six guests, this category-breaking model is ideal for cruising and fully customisable.

PrivatSea Full Yacht Management Services

Bespoke superyacht services are essential for UHNW owners, particularly as they spend more time cruising. PrivatSea, a full-service yacht management company, was on hand to discuss with clients and other industry professionals how to make ownership as seamless as possible. This includes its latest partnership with Italian manufacturer Novamarine, for which PrivatSea is the exclusive dealer in the Greek market. With a supremely efficient fleet of tenders – primarily across the Black Shiver and RH series – excursions, day trips and transfers to and from the mothership can be undertaken with the same level of comfort and performance as the yacht itself.

AB Yachts x BRABUS AB110

Towering at 110 feet high, AB Yachts (part of the Next Yacht Group) and BRABUS proudly unveiled their collaboration – the BRABUS AB110. With its sleek carbon fibre exterior, expansive deck layout and signature BRABUS interiors, this bold creation cannot be ignored. Giorgio Mattei, Deputy Chairman of Next Yacht Group, describes the presentation as “not simply one yacht, but the beginning of a range and of a collaboration that we believe has significant potential for the future.”

The AB 110 is the centrepiece of the inaugural AB series, which also includes the BRABUS AB95 and BRABUS AB150. With the latter making its world debut at next year’s Monaco Yacht Show to coincide with BRABUS’ 50th anniversary, the AB 110 is just a glimpse of what lies ahead.

Sunseeker Trio Display

Despite delivering in 2025, Sunseeker had a trio of vessels making their Monaco Yacht Show debut this year. On display were the 82 Ocean Enclosed (25m), 90 Ocean (27m) and 100 Yacht (29.94m). Both the 82 Ocean Enclosed and 90 Ocean are designed for adventuring – or as the brand bills it: “for owners with an insatiable curiosity” or “for journeys most won’t make.” As a larger, more statuesque model, the 100 Yacht seems best suited to those who want to enjoy life at sea at a slower pace – perfect for sunrise coffees on the flybridge in some of the world’s most beautiful destinations.

IYC’s Expansive Fleet

IYC’s ambition became clear just before it arrived at the Monaco Yacht Show with the announcement of a majority-stake investment by Peninsula Yachting. This strategic move signals a commitment to extend IYC’s fleet and brokerage, as well as reach new geographies. Just a few days later, IYC arrived at Port Hercule with an impressive lineup. Among them was the 244' (74.5m) ZEUS, an iconic yacht with a design pedigree spanning Martin Francis and François Zuretti, alongside the 162' (49m) OCEANOS, 156' (48m) ATLANTIS, 143' (43.5m) THIS IS IT, and 123' (37m) MOONEN 122 MARTINIQUE YN208. Event attendees also had the opportunity to step aboard the 263' (80m) BATELLO and 145' (44m) HEEUS to view firsthand the high calibre of vessels.

Feadship’s HIVE

It seems there’s no better place to debut your largest yacht to date than Monaco as Feadship joins a growing collective of brands doing so. Launching HIVE, a 115m flagship, Senior Designer Jan Schaffers tells SPHERE that the design was inspired by the people that use it: “I noticed on board that clients will gather a group for the day to have interesting discussions across different fields and expertise. We wanted to create something for those moments.” Similarly, the vessel could suit a family of four, with bespoke arrangements tailored to “a son who is interested in seeing the stars or a daughter interested in spending time in the water, exploring and investigating.”

Set across four decks, there are vast swathes of open space including a main deck that could become an expansive saloon, stage or auditorium, with terraces opening to port and starboard. The most glamorous features include the two-storey beach lounge, which leads to water-level dining for 24 or more, the onboard secluded garden, or the 20m pool with Feadship’s patented ContraWave™ technology, extending indoors as a suspended, glass-bottomed infinity pool.
