The label is the eponymous creation of Dutch businesswoman Mala Chetty, who was inspired to start her own line after discovering sumptuous locally-made silks on her travels in Vietnam. Woven by generations of female artisans in silk production villages, the fabrics used in Chetty's collections are of an exquisite quality while also being Fair Trade, meaning that each purchase helps to support both sustainable livelihood and Vietnamese craft traditions. All pieces are produced in The Netherlands using Chetty's own designs.

The current range consists of 15 styles, covering dresses and kaftans as well as sandals and clutch bags. Lightweight, flowing and comfortable - music to our ears after four months of lockdown indulgence - designs are also flattering and elegant, meaning they'll work as well on the French Riviera as they will on the beaches of Cornwall. Garments come in a range of fun colours and hand-painted patterns, with both full-length and mini silhouettes available.
