LVMH’s Moët Hennessy has launched Clos 19, a new online retail portal that includes advice on how best to serve, save or store drink and how to throw a party. Look out for special experiences, including trips to wineries and even Antarctica, and bottles such as a limited-edition Dom Pérignon 2002 Rosé (£8,500), complemented by Riedel champagne glasses (£120 for six) created exclusively for Krug.

Also from the LVMH family is Krug’s Into the Wild on 29 July at The Grange in Hampshire. This will be an evening of music, food cooked on open fires by Argentinian chef Francis Mallmann and of course, champagne. £395 per person.
