Perfect Three Cherries at Eve's Bar Covent Garden

The Perfect, Three Cherries at Eve Bar
If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing ostentatiously. Case in point: the triple cherry (!) Manhattan served up in the recently refurbished bar under Adam Handling’s Covent Garden showcase Frog. It’s created to Handling’s demanding specifications: including sweet vermouth infused by lightly toasted stones, dry vermouth blessed with cherry blossom and cherries steeped in whiskey. On a recent weeknight, with bar staff coping brilliantly under a blitzkrieg of orders, we were lucky enough to try out: balanced, beautiful and fabulously boozy. A grown up drink for good times.

David Shrigley Globetrotter Suitcase

Globe-Trotter X David Shrigley
Globe-Trotter is launching a new limited edition, featuring original David Shrigley artworks presented on the outside of their four-wheel Carry-On cases. Renowned for his distinctive style combining handwritten humorous text with quick-witted imagery of animals, people, aliens, and everyday still life, David Shrigley has created two unique designs to be shown on the exterior of Globe-Trotter’s Carry-On cases. "Cream feels really decadent for luggage because it’s totally impractical" says Shrigley. "And if you make the conscious decision to buy quite an impractical piece of art luggage, you’re going to be travelling by private jet or yacht..."
