If you’re as fascinated by the explosion in everyday wellbeing products as we are, you’ll be delighted to know London’s Regent Street has a beautifully curated new pop-up store, Raye, dedicated to stuff you didn’t know you wanted, but won’t want to live without.

Raye is the brainchild of Nicole Compen, a retailer dedicated to sourcing emerging brands into the health and wellbeing space. Her pop-up, opposite the Langham hotel, is a tranquil oasis of genuinely interesting never-seen-before products you wouldn’t normally find together. Think beauty bar meets grocery, off-licence – with a brilliant selection of non-alcoholic drinks for those doing Sober October – polished off with a lushly verdant corner thanks to a partnership with the ever popular company Patch Plants.

The products on offer are 80% plant based and 90% UK based brands, and founders of one or more of them are on hand throughout each day from noon until 6pm to share their products. It’s the personal attention that makes this a worthwhile vist, and by the way we recommend the herbal hangover cure offered by Korean brand The Awkn, and 100% ethically sourced Fatso chocolate.

Moments away from Raye, at Liberty London, wellbeing has become the number one factor to attracting customers. “Wellbeing is front of mind for most people who come to Liberty,” says its Managing Director Sarah Coonan, “it permeates everything from supporting our partners and teams to really embracing shopping as escapism. Life seems more complicated than ever, and stores like Liberty can feel like a safe space. Even if you don't buy a thing, immersing yourself in a creative environment for an hour can be soothing. We want that for everyone who walks through our doors.”

Should you need further proof that wellbeing is the new rock n roll, check out party-girl-of-the-century Kate Moss’s new brand Cosmoss. The woman who fell out of nightclubs as a way of life, now lives in the Cotswolds and between turns on the catwalk, has become purveyor of herb teas and CBD treatments to soothe our frazzled, overstimulated brains.
