Bucherer and Bünderbike have collaborated to produce the world's most expensive motorbike: the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition, complete with inbuilt diamond jewellery

If you thought motorbikes were for the tough, think again. Fine watch and jewellery maker Bucherer has collaborated with Bünderbike to produce an entirely handcrafted bike — the Harley-Davidson Blue Edition. Handlegrips are topped with Bucherer’s Dizzler rotating ring and a further pair of diamond rings are on the forks. Studded with 360 diamonds, the bike also features a glass dome, under which — in a retractable safe — lies a 5.40-carat solitaire diamond ring and a custom-made Carl F Bucherer watch. To achieve the startling, iridescent blue of the body, the bike was entirely silver-plated before six layers of coating were applied. Finished with gold-plated parts and a cowhide saddle, the bike took more than 2,500 hours to complete and costs CHF 1.89 million.
