To celebrate 100 years of Vogue magazine, the Cartier boutique on London’s Old Bond Street is showcasing an exhibition of photographs from Carol Woolton’s book, Vogue the Jewellery.  Opening tomorrow, customers will be able to discover the story behind Cartier and Vogue’s century-long collaboration in a new display of beautiful jewellery imagery.

Published by Conran Octopus, Vogue the Jewellery (£75) follows the magazine’s close relationship with Cartier’s jewels, precious stones and adornments over the years, capturing an entire century of style in its pages. Containing a collection of sparkling shots photographed by the likes of David Bailey, Mario Testino, Bruce Weber and Irving Penn, highlights on display will include an image of Elizabeth Taylor wearing the 69.42ct Taylor-Burton diamond in a necklace by Cartier, as well as iconic Cartier pieces such as headdresses and tiaras.

Vogue the Jewellery exhibition is on at Cartier, 40-41 Old Bond Street, from 5 May until 31 May.
